Lemons or Lemonade?

Be who you are all the time. It is ok to go out of the box and always look for the lemonade, not lemons.

Well, how true is this? It seems so EASY to look for the lemons doesn't it? Lately, I have seen it more than I wanted to. Ponder this thought today... Let me know what YOU think.

Soft words...

Just another thought for the day...and it has been a doozie!

"I should keep my words soft and sweet in case I have to eat them." Why can't I live by this? It seems so easy when you read it. And then the day goes crazy and for totally forget all about this. Who wrote this anyway? I am just curious.

Mouse Trap!

Well, today, once again, I was just thinking. It's time to purge my soul, my body, my house, and my life. I do not have time for everything. I feel like one of the Incredibles in my own home. Have you seen the movie? It's so tru. They way THEY live is the way we think we should live. We can't do it. I can't do it. My house is old.. I'm getting old... My kids are getting older... My parents are getting older... My friends are all older than ME! ha ha The point is that God put us here on Earth for a reason. Nobody is a mistake. He had a plan for us way before we even existed. So whatever today brings, just BRING IT ON. It's nothing I haven't had to deal with before...maybe on another subject, but that's life. God is Good...All the time... All the time...God is Good! Our church says that exact phrase every Sunday. The Pastor says "God is Good" and we say "All the time." Then we reverse it. Just think about that for a minute. Everyone needs reminded of even the simple things and things that are mostly taken for granted. I'm in deep thought today. It's going to be a long day. And it's raining and I have a mouse in the house I can't catch. It's like The Moust Trap. Have you seen THAT movie? It's worth watching...

Timeshare

Yes! I own a timeshare. But I was talking about a REAL timeshare... Your family! Your family is who you share your time with. They are the ones you love. They are the ones who take up your time. This is my new definition of timeshare. That what I do every day. So next time someone asks you if you have a timeshare... Just laugh and say YES...even if you don't own one in Florida.

Ticketed

I got a speeding ticket today. My son was more humiliated than I... I was just bragging about a year ago that I had not had one in 15 years. Well, now I have gotten 2 PLUS another for following too close in which I rear-ended a client doing less than 1 mile per hour. It dented my license plate. I was humiliated. He's not my client any more. Again, what are we here for?

Grateful...

Define grateful: I need less of more and more of less if I am to be free....at last! It's like chewing an elephant one bite at a time... Time! It's ALL about time. Or not?

A friend told me I was grateful. Well, what does that mean? After she sent me this little tidbit of info (above), I just kept thinking about how interesting it was...

Less of more? This is so true. We all have too much STUFF! That would be things that bring us down. Things that take up space. Things that take time away from our families. Things that keep us from growing. Things that keep us from peace at home. So, "less of more" seems so appropriate.

More of less to be free? Well now THAT hit home too. I have been recently purging my home. Have you ever done that? Have you ever moved? Have you ever had a fire or flood in your home? Been divorced and had to split things only taking 1/2? This is just an overwhelming thought for the day. Even with my friends I have been purging. That's not always a bad thing especially if they bring you down.

I hope you enjoy this little tidbit as much as I did because it is so true in what we do every day of our lives and how "things" and "people" can just drain us to death.

In God's eyes, the only thing we need is Him!

Dear Lord, Help me purge all the things I don't need that do not glorify you... it's all around me every day especially in my career and the kids' school. Friends are always there in the flesh. Thanks to all my great and true friends. I am GRATEFUL to have each and every single one in my life...
